The team Wezel Flugzeugtechnik The Apis® 2 is manucatured by Wezel Flugzeugtechnik.Martin Wezel is an aeronautical engineer and enthusiastic pilot. He has given the Apis® 2 its new design and has developed the glider with its engine to be suitable for series production. In parallel, he has achieved the German type certification with all required tests on the ground and in the air.The structure of the glider is build at Composit Airplanes in the Czech Republic. Composit Airplanes and its skilled stuff has a long history for high quality CFRP production and has produced parts for various manufacturers. Their experience and high quality manufacturing techniques are an integer part for manufacturing the Apis® 2 series production.Final assembly, powerplant installation, quality check and test flight are carried out at Wezel Flugzeugtechnik in Reutlingen/Germany. Martin Wezel has found and established a committed team in the Czech Republic and in Germany to bring the Apis® 2 to the market and support their customers. |
